چکیده
Robotic incremental sheet forming has arisen a recent industrial interest, as more flexible and cost-effective solution to the process using rigid computer numerical control (CNC) machines. However, prediction of loads final geometry coupled an elastic modeling robot is essential optimize trajectory thus ensure geometrical accuracy part. Within this context, aim study investigate load in case single point commercially pure (CP) titanium alloy sheet. The mechanical behavior characterized at room temperature under two strain states, i.e., uniaxial biaxial tension, truncated cone same material obtained by forming. A 3D cell records all components applied during part laser scanned end process, though still clamped along outer edge. model developed assuming some symmetries reduce computational time. influence hardening law, either identified from or tensile tests, on investigated, with focus path

Investigation on Formability of Tailor-Welded Blanks in Incremental Forming
Steel laser tailor-welded blanks (TWBs) are produced by end-to-end joining of base sheets using different welding methods. In this article, the formability of laser TWBs of St12 and St14 with thicknesses of 1 mm and 1.5 in single point incremental forming process were experimentally and numerically investigated. First, the forming limit wall angle was experimentally determined for each of the b...
متن کاملpresenting a new method for high speed incremental forming
recently, incremental sheet metal forming (ismf) process as one of the new methods in rapid prototyping collection has been considered by researchers. this process is based on a defined path in cnc controller and applies a spherical-head tool that supplies the required pressure for sheet metal forming. despite affirmation of process ability in forming symmetric geometries, some of its aspects s...
متن کاملThe Effects of Forming Parameters on the Single Point Incremental Forming of 1050 Aluminum Alloy Sheet
The single point incremental forming (SPIF) is one of the dieless forming processes which is widely used in the sheet metal forming. The correct selection of the SPIF parameters influences the formability and quality of the product. In the present study, the Gurson-Tvergaard Needleman (GTN) damage model was used for the fracture prediction in the numerical simulation of the SPIF process of alum...
متن کاملPrediction of Instability in Planar Anisotropic Sheet Metal Forming Processes
In this paper instability of planar anisotropic sheet metal during a few forming processes is investigated for the first time. For this reason components of the constitutive tangent tensor for planar anisotropic sheets are developed. By using the above tensor location of necking is predicted. Direction of the shear band is also predicted using the acoustic tensor. A finite element program is pr...

The efforts of the European Union (EU) in the energy supply domain aim to introduce intelligent grid management across the whole of the EU. The target intelligent grid is planned to contain 80% of all meters to be smart meters generating data every 15 minutes. Thus, the energy data of EU will grow rapidly in the very near future. Smart meters are successively installed in a phased roll-out, and...
